The reasons are practical rather than mysterious: heat drives people indoors for most of daylight hours, glass and air conditioning replace open air, clothing and sunscreen limit skin exposure, and darker skin tones synthesise vitamin D more slowly. The result is a population that lives under intense sun but is biochemically closer to a northern European winter. For anyone considering a peptide protocol, this matters more than it first appears.

Why vitamin D sits upstream of peptide outcomes

Vitamin D is not a vitamin in the classical sense but a steroid hormone precursor.
